Overview

When Sencha approached WEBDOGS, its website was on an inflexible platform that hindered future growth and didn’t reflect Sencha’s position as the leader in web application frameworks. Additionally, Sencha’s editorial and eCommerce platforms were not integrated, requiring significant development time to make changes to critical eCommerce components.

With a focus on usability, potential for future growth, ease of maintenance, and consolidation of the eCommerce and editorial experience, WEBDOGS collaborated with Sencha to create a new, integrated digital presence built on WordPress and WooCommerce.custom woocommerce website for a global software development company by san jose's leading wordpress developers

WEBDOGS has become an extension of our marketing team. We rely on their WordPress and WooCommerce expertise to keep our websites running at their best.

 SalesForce / WooCommerce Integration

The Sencha sales team uses SalesForce throughout the sales cycle which requires close integration with WooCommerce. Sencha sales team members can send custom quotes to potential clients, providing a unique link that automatically fills out all of the customer’s information from SalesForce. The customers only need to enter their payment information. Additionally, all new purchases that go through the web store are synced with SalesForce, automatically assigning an account manager and setting up next steps in the order processing flow.

 Data migration

WEBDOGS migrated editorial content and metadata from the Expression Engine content management system, re-architecting data structures and intelligently moving content into the WordPress architecture.

 Training catalog

Sencha offers a number of training options, from on-site and in-person to online training. WEBDOGS created a custom portal to display and filter the available training offerings, landing pages for individual training options, as well as custom administration controls enabling the Sencha editorial team to easily control visual design and content.

 Third party integrations

WEBDOGS created a number of custom integrations with third party services like Marketo, Vidyard video player, and BrightTALK webinars. These integrations made embedding these services in editorial content straightforward, enabling the Sencha team to focus on creating high quality content.

Design collaboration

Leveraging design assets from a Sencha designer, WEBDOGS executed the visual design, connecting the custom administration interfaces built by WEBDOGS with the refreshed look-and-feel.
